Library Etiquette
We in the Learning Commons would like to remind our students that while we are not of the typical “shush” libraries, there are some fundamental rules of etiquette to keep in mind when using the library:
- Conversations among other students and on the cell phone should be kept to a reasonable volume
- Please try to clean up after yourself when eating and drinking in the library
- If you spill something, please let us know so we can take care of it immediately
- Viewing pornography on the computers is a violation of the student code of conduct and will not be permitted
- In other words, please respect your neighbors by not disturbing them
For those of you who need a quiet place to study, please use our Library Conference Room, located on the lower level of the Library. This space is exclusively a quiet study area between 10AM and 2PM, Monday through Friday. In addition, we have two study rooms available for reservations for students during the open hours of the library.
