New ESL and Language Learning Resources
We have added a new link on The Learning Commons home page for our ESL students, as well as those students who have shown interest in learning foreign languages.
On the main page under the Learning Commons Databases there is a link titled ESL and Language Learning. Here you can find free online resources and social networking sites for improving and practicing your english speaking and writing skills. On the other hand, maybe you have always wondered what Fahrvergnügen means, always wanted to learn to count to ten in Portuguese, or have a big trip to South America coming up over break and don’t want to embarass yourself by asking for a pair of pants when all you really wanted was a sandwich.
Never fear! The resources we have listed under ESL and Language Learning is an excellent place to start building on your interests in foreign languages or to enhance your english speaking skills. In no time at all you’ll be counting to one hundred and asking for a sandwich as though you were born to speak the language.
